Gross Domestic Product
GDP- Gross Domestic Product (GDP- Gross Domestic Product) is one of the most prominent economic indicators monitored by decision makers and economic stakeholders in any country as it allows measurement of the volume of economic activity, productive process and economic performance that is the basis for economic analysis and policy formulation.
This indicator is measured by official statistical agencies in accordance with an internationally approved and agreed set of standards and concepts known as the System of National Accounts (SNA), prepared and issued under the auspices of the United Nations, the European Commission, IMF, the World Bank Group and OECD.
